A game about rolling a lot of types of dice, unlocking upgrades, bonuses, synergies and automation. Very early in development, has ~4-5 minutes of gameplay that may not be in the end game, now only has simple dice and some upgrades for them. I want to add:

  • Quests system
  • Prestige
  • Cards that give bonuses based on a level and XP that does not exist yet

a little balance changes in upgrades cost and some tutorial to start playing. Liked the game!

Thank you for the feedback! If you have time I would love to hear about what upgrades do you think weren't balanced in terms of price (like too little or too high of a price) or effect, and what would you like to see in a tutorial

Once I got past how the game works it was actually quite addictive! I guess giving players a bit of a tutorial would be nice, even if this is how a dice game like this works. Some people like me have never played one before.

The upgrade were cool and easy to understand once I started earning them. I earned all of the except “prestige”. Haha.

As for the upgrade screen, I wish that the tooltips wouldn’t dangle out of view. It’s a small issue, of course, since the camera can be moved over. But it would be a nice little touch.

All in all a surprisingly entertaining game.

Can you please detail what would you like to see in a tutorial? Thanks for the feedback. I will move the tooltip a bit more to the left when it's too much to the right, that's probably what you mean, I didn't notice it

I think you may have to tell players they need to keep the mouse/area over the dice for a time. I was clicking on the dice and nothing happened and probably move the mouse too and so sometimes the dice would flip and sometimes not.

It’s possible that there should be more leeway in terms of the mouse movement. Like it’s been still for a short time, then a little movement doesn’t mean that the area has been moved. - Not tutorial but sort of a “coyote time” for this game.

That may be about it. Seeing the $ number go up is enough to get that progress is being made.

I've gotten all the new upgrades, and I still don't get what the center die does. I am still having fun as a dice maniac, though.

Thanks for the comment; what is confusing, the upgrade description for the center die? It basically levels up on dots received from the dice you roll, and when it levels up it rolls. The value from that roll (1 or 2 in the beginning) is added to your remaining time, depending on how far you are in the upgrades concerning that. There is an upgrade that adds 0.5s, then another one adds 1s per dot rolled on center die level up. I could make that clearer, I need to check for something being a bit wrong about it too, in browser it seems like the leveling up sometimes doesn't work, even if it works in the .exe

The center die itself was confusing to me. Now that I know what it does, the upgrades make sense.

I was confused about the center die too at first. I was like “Do I try to click on the dice that match this ? Is there some sort of bonus doing that?” But as far as I can tell it’s just an image that changes to random dice roles.

I get why you put a die there. It’s thematically correct, but maybe change it so it doesn’t look just like the other dice. Or maybe when you get a logo fo r the game, use something like that.

I will implement a more obvious buff when it levels up so that it's not useless in the early game. Was it clear that the progress bar levels up on dots received from the normal dice?

Honestly, no. I thought it was associated with the amount of cash I had or someting. But I did notice the dots swirling in to the center.

Guess I just didn’t connect the dots. haha

Not bad and fun in it's current state. That prestige though is way too much.

I appreciate that you like it, the prestige mechanic isn't implemented yet, so it's more like a teaser, I am very early in development
